WHAT IS YOUR BOOKING PROCESS?
After completing your online inquiry, you will be contacted within 72 hours to confirm availability. Some brides decide to book right away and schedule a trial run closer to their wedding date (which is recommended) or they book a trial run prior to making the decision.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK?
I recommend booking 6-9 months in advance, I rarely accept bookings over 12 months in advance due to personal schedule management.

IS THERE A MINIMUM FOR BOOKING?
During peak wedding season (May-October), there is a $650 minimum for booking. In the off season, there is a $400 minimum for booking. This can be any combination of makeup/hair services or you simply can meet the minimum rate. If you're traveling from out of town we will do our best to accommodate trials around your visits.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I BOOK MY TRIAL?
If you're only booking a trial run without a contract, within 2 weeks of initial contact. If contracted for your date, I typically recommend waiting until 1-2 months before your wedding date to schedule. Weekend appointments are very limited, so booking in advance is important.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY TRIAL RUN?
For the trial, I ask brides to arrive fresh faced; no makeup and dry hair (hair can be cleaned or on second day hair). We will then discuss the bride's vision for her wedding hair/makeup. It starts with reviewing pictures of how the bride wears her own makeup. Then we look at inspiration photos, the dress, and any veils/hair accessories she plans to wear. From there we work together to create the perfect look for your wedding day!

HOW LONG DOES A TRIAL LAST?
For makeup/hair only, 1.5 hours. For both, I ask for 2.5 hours.

WHERE DOES MY TRIAL TAKE PLACE?
Trials take place at our studio which is located at 4920 Windy Hill Dr. Raleigh, NC. Unless requested otherwise. We can accommodate on-location trial runs for an additional fee.

CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME TO THE TRIAL?
Absolutely! It is common for the bride to bring along someone special (a mom or maid of honor, etc).

WHAT IF I WANT TO TRY SEVERAL DIFFERENT LOOKS?
If you're having a hard time deciding which look is best, I offer an exploratory trial where the bride can try several different looks. This lasts up to 4 hours. After the initial trial time, there is an hourly fee of $150.

WILL YOU TRAVEL TO ME ON THE WEDDING DAY?
Yes! My team and I will travel to whatever location of your choice for your wedding day -- it's all about making your day absolutely perfect, and that includes the perfect location.

IS THERE A TRAVEL FEE?
I offer complimentary mileage for weddings within 30 RT miles of 27607. After that, there's a fee of $25 per every additional 50 RT miles. Weddings that are over 1.5 hours away require a hotel fee, which will be charged to the Bride at the time of booking.

DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Yes! Destination weddings are booked for a minimum of two days and that all costs associated with travel (travel, lodging, meals) are covered. Please inquire for a custom quote.

HOW LARGE OF A BRIDAL PARTY CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE?
I can accommodate any bridal size, I personally believe the more the merrier. Just know your time constraints, how many services your party needs, and I'll make sure to bring along talented artists accordingly!

HOW LONG DOES EACH SERVICE TAKE?
For the bride, we book 60 minutes for hair, 60 minutes for makeup. For attendants, we book 30 minutes for makeup, 30 minutes for blow-outs, and 45 minutes for updos.

CAN I HIRE YOU TO STAY FOR TOUCH-UPS?
Absolutely! Although your makeup is applied to last all day, some brides feel more comfortable if their stylist is with them until the reception. Especially with the increased popularity of "first looks", it has become more common for the bride to hire her stylist to stay through the first look and up until the ceremony.

IS GRATUITY INCLUDED IN YOUR PRICING?
No, gratuity is not included in the pricing structure. It's not expected, but it's much appreciated!

WHAT TYPES OF PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
I use a variety of high-end professional brands included, but not limited to the following: MAC, Makeup Forever, Becca, Inglot, Tarte, Temptu, ABH.

DO YOU OFFER AIRBRUSHING?
Yes, I offer airbrushing upon request. We use the Temptu airbrush system.
​
WHAT IF SOMEONE HAS AN ALLERGY OR SENSITIVE SKIN?
If the bride or a member of her bridal party has a specific allergy or sensitivity, please notify me ahead of time so I can avoid use of the certain product. We also recommend she bring her own makeup if she has extremely sensitive skin.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
I accept online payments, as well as cash, cashier's check, Visa, and Mastercard.
